Crissy is your average 14 year old schoolgirl, who's biggest problem is the sciences. Into hanging out with plenty of friends, general pop culture, handphones and fashion, Crissy has an unusually large collection of Boomerangs, most of which belonged to her mother's father.

She's not that interested in conventional computer games, but spends most of her time online viewing You Tube or researching true crime stories. An activity that will escalate with her new responsibilities.

Due to having problems with her science studies, Cristal Lee attends a Saturday home tuition class, conducted by the enigmatic and matronly Mdm DeVilbiss, an Indian Eurasian lady of mixed Dutch heritage. Her home is strewn with ancient artifacts from around the ASEA region.

One afternoon, Ms DeVilbiss uncharacteristically gives Crissy a gift - a large lucky brooch. This is due to Singapore experiencing an increase in sophisticated crime, as well as most dubious supernatural activity.
Later that evening, in response to a troubled scream, Crissy races to the aid of a fallen middle aged gentleman who has been mugged by an 'invisible' assailant. Crissy notices her brooch beginning to glow, and within the blink of an eye, transforms into ... another being!

Upon returning to her tutor in a mad panic, it's revealed that the crescent given to her is the only living proof of Ms DeVilbiss' late husband's mastery of Mhystics – or the physics of magic.

Ironically, the very subject that gives her the most trouble at school is now her main source of inspiration, for now Crissy Lee fights the good fight when and wherever she is needed, as ...
