A 14 year old cosmic prophecy, who is hailed as protector of the 9th Column (3 solar systems including earth's). The last prophecised bastion of The Cosmic Dragon Corps, he has to lead the fight against The 9th Column Armageddon. Carter is an extremely powerful, but unfortunate boy who finds himself in all manner of conflict. Not only is his birthright that of sacredly protecting The 9th Column, but he also has to stay one step ahead of many outer-galactic and homegrown bounty hunters, out to strip him of his PowerViscos. The PowerViscos Carter's life threatening birthright, this tremendous special ability allows the young warrior to manipulate the density of almost anything. The DragonGem Housed on the belt about his waist, is the coveted DragonGem, which gives young Carter essential control of his PowerViscos. GravityBand The series of metallic pods that Carter carries across his body are secondary density flux controllers, and also doubles as the 'key' to his subterranean home. ViscoGloves & BootDuctors The metallic orbs on his glove knuckles and boot ankle areas gives Carter direct control of personal density shifting. Carter, though, has one major problem: during adolescence, it is possible for him to be killed and spiritually imprisoned within the DragonGem, which will in turn give his killer direct and eternal access to the PowerViscos. Because of his young age, Carter's abilities have not yet reached full maturity, and the Rulers Eternal of the 18 Columns have assigned him a sacred DragonProtect, Bowbalee The Magnifique. Who, ironically enough, normally puts Carter in the position of protector, rather than that of protectee! Carter faked his own death to better ensure the safety of his family - a mother, father and younger sister, Camille. However, he does not know that his parents are fully aware of his ‘chosen one’ status. Carter lives in The DragonLair under the outskirts of Super City - the surface area is a protected national landmark publicly known as Dragons Horn Rock. Below, the young hero trains and studies under the pupilage of his protector, Bowbalee. Carter has to stay alive until he is at least 18 years old - at which time he will gain expert control of his powers.
