During a moral education class at school, Mayo Mancini is gunned down and almost killed in the cross-fire of small time adolescent gangsters. However, her teen-love, Morris Kane, is actually killed in the crossfire though (or so she thinks).

The event is merely another symptom of the spiraling crime rate in Remington City.

The Mayor of Remington is the charming but corrupt Idalia Abrahams. Apart from her ambitions for congress, she is also on a secret quest to become the city's crimelord.

Idalia's clever plan is to use Da Crash for waging war on crime (Operation: Retake Remington) while simultaneously 'filling' the resultant vacuum of crime with her own network. Though highly experimental, the Da Crash technology is receiving the ultimate in field testing. Idalia intends to sell the technology later.

However, Mayo becomes too good at her job, and must be eliminated. Idalia did not appreciate the fact that Mayo has already suffered tragic losses from her life due to crime; her crime boss father is currently estranged from her mother due to indirectly causing the death of her older brother. And not to mention the loss of her teen love, Morris Kane. These facts will spur Mayo on obsessively.

Idalia sends Aftershock and The Arachnoid Supreme after Da Crash, via the criminal science-genius mastermind, The Maker.

The future will mainly be Mayor Abrahams trying to stop Da Crash! but without implicating herself or jeapordising her career. She will send endless amounts of super villains after Da Crash! Including Da Crash II, who is non-other than Morris Kane, minus his humanity however. He is much more artificial and cyber-driven than Mayo.

Da Crash! has some friends on the force who always watch her back. They need Da Crash! because right across the country, the crime scene is becoming too heavy for normal police to handle.
